Curriculum
Curriculum Design
HiNOX Middle School offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), the arts, the humanities, and ethics. In addition to traditional subjects like math, science, and language arts, we offer courses in cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and entrepreneurship.
Our curriculum is designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing students to explore their interests and learn at their own pace. We encourage project-based learning, real-world problem-solving, and collaboration among students, as well as engagement with professionals from various industries.
Personalized learning pathways
Students will be grouped based on ability and interest assessments rather than age or grade level, allowing them to explore subjects at their own pace and according to their individual passions.
Project-based learning
Students will engage in hands-on, collaborative projects that promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurship and innovation
HiNOX School will incorporate entrepreneurial thinking, encouraging students to start companies, trade with virtual currency, and apply their learning to real-world contexts.
Inquiry-based curriculum
Students will have the opportunity to drive their own learning by selecting topics of interest and exploring them in depth.
Integration of technology
Students will use technology to enhance their learning, developing digital literacy and coding skills through platforms like Codecademy, edX, and Khan Academy.
Focus on ethics and social responsibility
The curriculum will include discussions on ethics, empowering students to become informed and responsible citizens.
